Making its debut in Odaiba, this event features seafood and delicacies from all over Japan!
The Sakana & Japan Festival is Japan's largest seafood gourmet festival aimed at promoting the nutrition-packed "fish diet" culture that flourished in the Japanese archipelago because of the surrounding sea.Treat yourself to delectable dishes featuring fresh and seasonal seafood, including kaisendon (seafood on a bed of rice), traditional fisherman's meals, regional specialties, as well as a fusion of Japanese, Western, and Chinese seafood delights like seafood ramen and seafood paella.
Formerly known as the "Japan Fisherman's Festival," which used to take place every November at Tokyo's Hibiya Park, undergoing redevelopment, the festival has embarked on a new journey with a change in venue and a fresh name. The February 2023 edition, hosted at Yoyogi Park, witnessed a record-breaking attendance of 200,000 people over the span of four days.
