Items in JAMSTEC's possession will be on display for a limited time.

◎ What happened that day? What was learned from the investigation of the epicenter and the mysteries that remain

Three days after the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake, JAMSTEC began investigating the epicenter.
At the venue, three discoveries that were made thanks to the swift drilling investigation, as well as the mysteries that remain, will be featured.

◎ The forefront of research focusing on the mysteries of massive earthquakes

Details of the large-scale drilling mission "JTRACK" to be carried out off the coast of Tohoku from September to December 2024 will be introduced.
