Junior Shipping Journalist Award Award-Winning Works Exhibition <TOKYO Minatorie>

  • 2021-09-14 ~ 2021-10-31
  • Aomi area

Being surrounded by the ocean on all sides, Japan certainly benefits from the ocean, such as through fishery resources and tourism, but on the other hand, the amount of necessary resources that can be extracted from a small land area is limited.

For this reason, we rely on imports from overseas for most of the energy resources and food we need for our daily lives, and almost 100% of them are transported to Japan by ships.

「The "Junior Shipping Journalist Award" aims to help elementary, junior high, and high school students nationwide learn about the maritime industry, such as marine transportation and ships, which play a role in trade, and understand their importance. It has been held by the Japan Maritime Public Relations Center since 2013.

Among the wonderful works submitted from all over the country in 2020, we will exhibit those that received awards such as the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award.

Period: Tuesday, September 14th to Sunday, October 31st, 2021
