Third-year junior high school students at Kaetsu Ariake Junior and Senior High School will be holding a presentation of the video works they created as part of their art class using the large screen on the 2nd floor of Ariake Garden Mall.
The presentation is open to the public, so please come and see us.

◆Aim of the lesson

What is the definition of a work of art?
Artistic skills are always in demand in society. In recent years, the power to create has been recognized as an ability that is useful in solving various problems, under terms such as "art thinking" and "design thinking."
However, how many cases have art subjects in school education actually been connected to society?
What I value most in this class is the experience of students presenting their own work in a space open to the public.
In other words, all kinds of phenomena around the world become motifs for creative acts, and the works that emerge from them are evaluated based on the uniqueness of their perspectives and ideas, making it possible to overcome various social constraints and make them manifest to the masses.
This is a learning experience that allows you to experience the essence of art.
