Halloween: a festival that has its roots in Europe and has now become a staple event in Japan, too.
Just like Obon Festival in Japan, on October 31st, it was believed that the souls of your ancestors, spirits of evil, and other spirits of the dead would visit the home.
It is from this that the custom of dressing up in the same style as said spirits and making them think they are your companions and protecting yourself was born.
At AkeruE, we will hold a hands-on workshop, "Make a Halloween Hat", that anyone can participate in when they want to.
