The Earth’s Motion and Catastrophes Seen in the Great East Japan Earthquake <Miraikan>

The East Japan Earthquake and Nuclear Disaster Memorial Museum will showcase almost 40 panels and around 10 real materials to realistically illustrate the conditions during the earthquake.
These have been chosen from the vast collection of approximately 280,000 materials gathered.
The museum will also use the Great East Japan Earthquake as a case study to explain the types of disasters that can be triggered by the Earth's movement.
In addition, visitors will be able to view 30 panels that introduce the earthquake memorial facilities in Fukushima Prefecture, and the individuals who are currently conveying the situation in Fukushima.
