The Agency for Cultural Affairs Media Arts Festival is a comprehensive media arts festival that honors outstanding works in the four categories of art, entertainment, animation, and manga, and also provides opportunities to appreciate award-winning works.

In the 23rd Awards, we select the Grand Prize, Excellence Award, Rookie Award, and the newly established Social Impact Award, the U -18 Award in four categories of Art, Entertainment,
Animation, and Manga from 3,566 works submitted from 107 countries and regions in the world.
In addition to the four categories, we established the "Festival Platform Award" and selected the winning entries from the 46 entries submitted from 17 countries and regions around the world.
At the same time, we also selected persons who contributed to the field of media arts as a Distinguished Service Award.

As a measure to prevent infection from the new coronavirus, the number of visitors is limited, and reservations are required.
Since the venue will be shot with a 360 degree VR camera, those who cannot come to the event can also enjoy the world view of the Media Art Festival on the special website.
Besides, the prize winner talk event will be distributed on the special website. Details will be announced later.
