Details of the International Student Job-seeking Support Programme

Encouraging foreign nationals to live and work in Japan is part of a wider development strategy. Japanese universities are forging connections with local municipalities and industries, helping to create a supportive environment in which international students can acquire the skills they need to succeed in Japan – including Japanese language, and enterprise training, as well as assisting students with becoming settled in Japan. In doing so, they hope to raise the profile of Japan as an international study destination. We will showcase the efforts of twelve different organizations with the ultimate goal of increasing the number of international students coming to Japan.
