Genetics Laboratory Spring 2018: Thinking About Luminescent Bacteria And The Future of Medical Treatment<Venue: Miraikan>
- 2018-03-17 ~ 2018-03-18
In a few decades time, if we were able to freely recode human genes, what society look like?
Hereditary conditions may cease to exist. We might be able to improve our ability to ward off diseases. We could be able to design the way we look – becoming as strong and as beautiful as we wished. Yet it seems that things wouldn't be solved so simply.
Through discussion and experiments, this event is an opportunity to think about genetics and our future.
