Kurios is a special production to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Cirque du Soleil.

Kurios embodies the idea of curiosity as well as antiquity. In the ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ you’ll see on display an intriguing array of objects dating from the 19th century collected from all over the world.

The stage is a recreation of the era of industrial revolution, yet at the same time evoking a sense of the near future. The protagonist, a so-called seeker, believes in a hidden world. He has collected curios from far and wide in order to build a great machine. The story begins as we step into this strange mechanical world.

As an eccentric cast of characters try to stimulate the protagonists febrile imagination in this humorous world turned upside down, watch the curios come to life. Believe in the power of imagination, set your heart free and delve into this magical land.

Since opening in 2014, Kurios has visited Montreal, Chigaco, New York, and over 20 other exciting locations, drawing in 2.8 million theatregoers. The opening in February in Tokyo marks the start of a Japan tour, taking in Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sendai. The Odaiba show is currently the recipient of rave reviews!
